Today’s teacher.. my Gazebo!
Which line is straight? Which one inclined? Which one has a little bend? And which one is not so perfect??…. Looking at my gazebo roof this morning, I stood under it for several minutes.
I Kept on repositioning myself and a soothing smile appeared on my face without asking me! It was a Eureka in mind! ….. I realized that answers to these questions lie in the ‘point of reference!’
As I change my point of reference, my definition of the same line changes automatically as straight/ inclined, etc.
The sunlight kept moving like a Buddhist monk on its predesigned trajectory during my those 30, 40 minutes of observation, and my same eyes kept seeing a difference in the same line with reference to the same point. My mind started downloading new words as per these new observations… Bent/ curved/ crooked!….
And another smile appeared without my permission… Eureka!! The direction of light was changing my perceptions about the same thing!!!…
I looked at the vast open sky and I felt liberated… Thank God! Nature does not have references! No definitions! No straight lines!!! Though everything has its own predesigned trajectory!! And then everything in nature follows its own trajectory!!
Life goes on.. let’s find our own predesigned trajectory and move on as beautifully as nature moves!!!
Happy gardening!!
