IHA, the general purpose organic potting soil is created using the process of Amrit Mitti. It is a proportionate mixture of un-urbanised soil, agricultural biomass, various composts, farmyard manure , charcoal, ash, sand, and neem oil cake. This mixture is then cured for 3 to 4 weeks using Amrit Jal and organic bio-culture. This makes IHA rich in microbial life and makes it pathogen resistant. The rich humus reduces watering needs. Plants grown in Iha do not need anyinsecticide/ pesticide sprays. Gardener can enjoy almost a maintenance free organic gardening experience.
